For the last couple of weeks, my guild has been able to get a second group into Kara. Unfortunately, we've always been 2-3 players short and have had to rely on pick-ups.
Our first outing actually started on a Saturday after our Friday run got cancelled because the raid leader had ISP issues. The Saturday run was ok even though we couldn't down Attumen. Our pally off-tank doesn't have the gear and kept dying. On one attempt, after Attumen mounted Midnight, I screwed up by hitting him before the tank got agro. He turned around and pretty much one-shotted me. ;-) Lesson learned.
I scored Grips of Deftness, but haven't worn them because my Fel Leather Gloves with gems are better. The group learned a lot on this first run and it helped on our second run the following week.
Last Friday we ended up pickin' up a fill-in warrior off-tank since our was unavailable. This really helped. We downed Attumen pretty easily, although I ended up dead for most of the fight. :-( I'm not even sure what hit me...
We moved on to Moroes and tried him 5 or 6 times. On our 5th attempt, the group got him down to 1% before wiping. The 6th ended up as a wipe. Again, we learned a lot from this run.
Our Saturday night run started out looking for a damn healer again. We found a pick-up healer, but he bailed on us after the 3rd Moroes attempt. Asshole. :-\ Jesus...it's not like every single group that goes into Kara kicks ass from the start. Grrr...
Anyway, after a futile attempt to find a replacement, we decided to help a guildie (holy pally) run BM so she could join us this week. :-) During the BM run, I scored the Hourglass of the Unraveler. :-) :-) :-) hell yea! That thing freakin' rocks.
Hopefully this week goes better and we actually down Moroes and move on.

Attumen does a random charge after the merge, and hits for something crazy like 6000. If you're not topped off before the charge, you'll get pwnd. (I'm resto, and go in with like 8500 health, and see it drop to like 2000 or so if I get charged).
Moroes can be a bitch if you don't have good CC up front, or if you don't interrupt that mob that heals and can break shackles on other entrapped mobs. Having a druid healer helps in this fight because they can HoT up the Garrote victims and keep them alive while other healers focus on the two people tanking Moroes.
There's only one fight in Kara that my guild hasn't completed yet, and that's Netherspite. Our raid schedule just doesn't permit the necessary time to take him on. Otherwise, Kara's on farm for us, so if you have any strategy questions, feel free to ask!
My health is just a touch over 7000 unbuffed and a dead rogue does no DPS. :-(
It sucks when there's not even time to vanish.
We had 3 shackles available for the Moroes fight. We DPS'd the 4th and then moved on to Moroes. Problems occurred when shackles broke and the person responsible was garrotted. not cool.
We had 2 pally's on our last run and they did a good job of dealing with garrotes, but still...as a rogue, I don't expect heals to come and there's really not a good way for me to heal through that kind of damage.
I think part of our problem was too many people trying to say how we should handle the fight. The raid leader lost control due to pugs.
Next time, my suggestion will be to DPS down two of the adds (probably the clothies) while keeping the warriors shackled. Then we'll move on to Moroes.
One thing that really pisses me off about Kara so far is Attuman and Moroes are immune to bleeds. As a rogue, bleeds are a big part of my damage and it pisses me off when I have to replace a rupture with an evis.
I've been reading WowHead and WowWiki trying to get both of those fights and the next one committed to memory.
I'm hoping this weekend we can roll through Attumen and Moroes. :-)
